Taking a trip to the Axiom Art Exhibit I got to see a lot of different types of art involving technology. Technology is evolving everyday and it was cool to see how art has embraced this bringing it into there work. There were a few different pieces i was interested in, but one stuck out the most in my mind. "Consensus" by Jack Backrack is a piece done on the computer. He created these animated robot figues that moved around differently to a pitch noise. Listening to the noise and watching the figures move you begin to think they move differently depending on the pitch of the noise.
Getting an explanation on the piece i learned that Jack created this in such a way to mimich politics. There are two pieces in the bunch that have colored circles around them. These are the two politician leaders. It shows how the others choose one to follow. The pices will change though and time goes on. Ones will switch sides and others will remian unsure of where they want to be. Although it may look like it is on a playback it is said to not repeat any of the same sequences. To me creating this art piece that is constantyl going in different patterns is a cool way to use technolgy for art.

Humans and Robots Joining in Marriage
Robotic technology has come a long way in our lifetime. Robots are being used worldwide to help make our lives easier. With the continuing change in technology is it possible that robots can provide more to humans?
Thinking about robots and the possibilty that they could be made for individuals to join in marriage posses some issues for me. A robot can be programed and set to the way you want. Having a machine willing to do evrything you want, to me, is not something you would want to live with for the rest of your life. Having a real human to interact with gives you that spontanious reactions. Another fact is how can a robot give you those emotional feelings like provided by your spose. To me the idea of robots and humans joining in marriage is a far reach and poses many problems.
